I need some fun attractions to keep busy with or people to hang out with. Also have a dog and Asian mother in tow with me so any Fido-friendly and mom-friendly places would be appreciated. Downside, I'm driving a Nissan Murrano w/CVT so no auto-crossing for Ender this time, hahaha.

I'm in VA but a few hours out of that area. I remember seeing some bitchin' massive restoration/hot rod shops whenever I drive through the Hampton Roads area, but that's about all. You're really close to VA Beach and Virginia International Raceway and a pretty big swamp, I think. Also, there should be some awesome war machinery around there.

I'll be near Langely/NASA and I'll be checking out the F-22 squadrons...if those hunk of junks are finally fixed and flyable!
Did not know about the hot rod shops, I'll keeping searching around then!

Sounds awesome, sorry I can't tell you any names of the hot rod shops. I just remember seeing three huge buildings with rusty classics on one side and nice cars on the other.

Those would be near for sure! My experience with visiting specialty car shops is that the people working there are as happy to talk to you as they are to have your business. You will definitely run into this one big restoration complex on your way there—it's impossible to miss.
